The Golden Cycling Club (GC2) is a dedicated corps of local riders who do all the dirty work of land use agreements, trail planning, building, and maintenance.

The Golden Nordic Ski Club offer over 30 km of groomed classic and skating trails at Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre (13 km outside of Golden) and 6 km of classic track set trails at the Golden Golf Course (6 km outside of Golden), we offer a world-class cross-country skiing experience to beginner and expert skiers alike.

Columbia Valley Hut Society
The Columbia Valley Hut Society is a non-profit organization established in 1980 by a small group of friends with a passion for the backcountry. Over the past twenty years Society members have worked together with the BC Forest Service to build and maintain five huts in remote locations in the Northern Purcell Mountains. These huts offer rustic, user-maintained accommodations and some of the most beautiful scenery in Western Canada. Members of the society are happy to share these huts with others who have a similar commitment to the preservation of special mountain places.
